Gray skies couldn’t dampen the excitement at the Hynes Convention Center in Boston, Massachusetts, where educators, librarians, writers, illustrators, editors, and publishers came out in droves to support and promote worldwide literacy.

  1. Robin, this made me smile SO BIG! First of all, seeing you guys at an event like this makes me SO happy! THEN—you got to meet John Schumacher! (This is a dream of mine, just so you know lol) and Peter Reynolds was there (love him :D) and Josh Funk (so fun!) and you got to SEE the “Make Way for Ducklings” sculpture! I can’t imagine you ever saw my post on Robert McCloskey, but if you’re interested, my dear: https://writersideup.com/2015/04/22/robert-mccloskey/
